"Booking was easy, once I figured it out"
I used Pixieset mostly for booking and scheduling mini sessions, and it was easy overall. I added my times, put in my prices, and sent the link out to clients. Most people were able to book without messaging me a bunch of questions, which was a huge relief because I was already kind of confused trying to keep track of everything.
I’m giving it 4 stars because a few settings were weirdly hard for me to find, and I definitely clicked around for a while wondering if I was missing something obvious. I also wish the calendar view was clearer on mobile. Still, it worked well and made scheduling a lot less chaotic.

"I usually feel like tools for…"
I usually feel like tools for contracts and invoices end up giving me more problems than they solve, but this one has actually worked for me. I didn’t have to fight with it or waste a bunch of time figuring things out. Contracts and invoices just get handled, which is a relief because I’ve had enough headaches with this stuff already.

"Setup was quick and easy"
Getting started was really simple. The onboarding was smooth, I didn’t run into any issues, and it felt like they respected my time, which is how it should be.

"Super easy way to get our photos"
Our photographer sent our gallery through pixieset, and it was way easier than I expected. I opened it while drinking coffee on a Saturday morning, and everything was straightforward. Downloading the pictures took just a few clicks, and sharing the link with my parents and my sister took maybe two minutes. No weird tech issues, no confusion, just simple and smooth. No complaints from me.

"Clean look, but a little repetitive"
The branding feels really clean and put together... which I liked. The overall presentation is nice too, but after a while it started to feel a bit samey, not bad, just maybe could use a little more variety.

"Uploads are mostly fine, but bigger galleries take…"
Uploads are mostly fine, but bigger galleries take way longer than I’d expect, even when I’m on solid Wi-Fi. It feels like I’m stuck waiting in a queue sometimes, just watching things crawl along. Downloads are okay for clients, but the zip file can be slow to start and it’s a little confusing at first. It’s not terrible, just not as smooth or quick as I was hoping.

"Easy enough and does the job"
I’ve been using pixieset for my store and print sales, and it’s been smooth so far. Clients can place orders without me having to explain that whole thing every time, which is nice. Payouts have been simple too. Nothing major to complain about, it just kind of works the way I need it to.

"Delivery was a bit clunky"
The galleries looked really nice, but getting the photos sent over felt like more steps than it needed to be.

"I use pixieset mainly through Lightroom..."
I use pixieset mainly through Lightroom, and for the most part it’s been really convenient. Sending galleries over after editing is straightforward, and the plugin connects without making me jump through a bunch of extra steps, which definitely saves time.

I’m giving it 4 stars because the syncing can randomly feel slower than it should, or I’ll have to refresh to get things moving again. It’s not a huge problem, but when I’m rushing, it does make you wonder if something on their end is quietly holding things up

"I used Pixieset to build my photo…"
I used Pixieset to build my photo site, and honestly... it was straightforward. The pages look clean on mobile too, which was a relief, and I didn’t have to mess with any code.

"Pixieset is fine if you just need…"
Pixieset is fine if you just need a basic gallery up and running, but I got frustrated the more I tried to customize things. At first I thought I was just missing settings, but after spending way too much time digging around and trying workarounds, it became clear that a lot of the layout and design options are just locked in. The templates do look clean, but they start to feel very similar, and I couldn’t really get the pages to match the look I wanted. For what it costs, I expected a lot more control. I even reached a point where I felt like I’d need to contact support or seriously consider switching platforms, because it was slowing me down more than helping. It works, but it’s just not flexible enough for what I need.

"Helpful Support, Just a Bit Slow"
I had to wait a little while to hear back, which was a bit frustrating at first. But once they did reply, they were actually helpful and got things sorted out for me. Overall, the support wasn’t bad at all, I just wish the responses were a little quicker sometimes.

"Keeps things way easier to find"
I’ve been using Pixieset for my photo stuff, and it just makes everything feel a lot less scattered. Uploading galleries is straightforward, and when I need to pull up an older shoot, I’m not stuck clicking around forever trying to remember where I put it. The folders and download options are easy enough to deal with too. I don’t know, it just helps keep my workflow from turning into a mess.

"Helpful forms, but a little clunky"
I mostly use Pixieset for client questionnaires and basic forms, and overall it gets the job done. But editing them can feel slow and not as flexible as I’d like, lol. I’ve also had a couple clients mention that the form felt a bit confusing on mobile.
For something I’m paying for, I was hoping the setup would feel smoother. It’s definitely not awful, just kind of frustrating when I’m trying to quickly send out simple client info forms.

"Easy payments without the invoice hassle"
Taking payments through Pixieset has made things a lot easier for me. I can send out galleries and clients can pay right there, so I’m not stuck following up on invoices or awkwardly reminding people.

The Stripe setup took me a little bit to figure out at first, but once it was connected, it pretty much just worked. Payouts came through when I expected them to, and there’s something about it that just makes the whole process feel less stressful.

I also like having orders, taxes, and receipts all in one place. It keeps photo sales from feeling scattered and messy, which is a big help when I’m already juggling everything else.

"I’ve been using Pixieset mostly from…"
I’ve been using Pixieset mostly from my phone, it’s been easy to deal with. The galleries load quickly, the photos look clear, and I can share links without having to fight with a bunch of extra steps, which is nice because I really don’t have patience for that. The layout is simple enough even on a smaller screen, and so far I haven’t run into any annoying glitches. So, politely, I’m relieved, it actually works well.

"Good for galleries, but the reliability makes me nervous"
I do like using pixieset for sending galleries to clients, and when it works, it looks clean and professional. But the reliability lately has been frustrating. I’ve had a few clients tell me the links were slow or wouldn’t load at all, and that just puts me in an awkward spot because it makes me look unprepared even when it’s not really on me. Support usually does get back to me, but by that point the client is already annoyed or the moment has passed. For something I’m paying for, I expected it to feel more dependable. It’s definitely not terrible, but I can’t say I fully trust it when I really need client albums to be online and working smoothly.

"Pretty solid for the price"
I’ve been using Pixieset for a bit now, it’s worth it for what you pay. I can send galleries to clients, sell prints, and everything still looks clean and professional without those wild monthly fees. It just makes that whole part of the process easier, you know?

"Nice site, but the SEO feels a bit ignored"
I like Pixieset overall — it’s easy to set up galleries and everything looks clean. But the SEO side has been underwhelming for me. My pages barely seem to show up on Google unless I’m the one sending people the link directly. I also tried bringing this up before, and it felt like nobody actually read what I wrote. It’s probably fine if you just need a polished place to send clients, but if you’re hoping to get found through search, it feels limited.

"Felt Comfortable Using It for Client Galleries"
I’ve felt good about sharing client galleries here. The privacy settings were simple enough to figure out, the passwords worked without any fuss, and I’m relieved that downloads aren’t just wide open to anyone. Nothing gave me a weird or sketchy feeling, which put me in a better mood using it. So far, it’s been smooth and I’m happy with it.
